Moon Information Report
The moon is only 380,000 kilometers from the earth. That's four hundred times closer than the sun. But traveling to the moon would be like taking to hundred trips to australia.
If you had a jet-propelled skateboard that could do 100 kilometers an hour you’d take six months to get there. The moon’s diameter is 3,576 kilometres.
That’s over twice the length of New Zealand. But the moon is about four times smaller than Earth, and four million times smaller than the sun. Because the moon is small, its gravity is weak. If you entered a high jump competition on the moon, you would be able to jump a lot higher than you can on earth.
Scientists think that about 4 billion years ago, another planet crashed into earth. Because there was an explosion
Earth's bits and pieces cracked open and some bits were blown into space some of these pieces came to form the moon. Many spacecraft have flown past the moon, and some have landed on it.
The scientists travelled to the moon in the 1960s and 1970s to gather rock samples and do experiments. Astronauts footprints will last millions of years because there’s nothing to blow them away.
Our moon is the second-brightest object in the sky, after the sun. It’s bright enough for us to see it in the daytime. But it doesn’t make its own light. It only reflects light from the sun.
We see only one moon in the sky. That’s because it takes exactly the same time to rotate. It takes the moon almost twenty-eight days to go around Earth.

- German Shepherd is a german dog that is also a guard dog.
- Dogfish is a fish that looks like a dog.
Knowledge A
First: I was very sad when Mum wouldn't let Grandpa take me fishing. “Your cold’s far too bad for you to go messing around on that cold, windy wharf” said Mum while picking up her purse. “I’m just going down to the shop. I won’t be long” said Mum.
Secondly: Grandpa stared out the window. “I’ve had a brainwave,” he said. We can go fishing right here in the back garden.” He rummaged in the broom cupboard and hauled out an old broom handle. Then he dug around in the recycling bin and pulled out an empty soup tin.
Third: He punched a hole on each side of it with a tin-opener. Then he took some wire out of the bits and pieces drawer and carefully tied the tin to the end of the broom handle.
Fourth: “There.” said Grandpa, looking pleased with himself. “How’s that for a fish rod?” I felt a bit disappointed. It didn’t look much like a fish rod to me. “We can’t catch fish with a tomato soup tin,” I said. “And we haven’t even got any water.” Grandpa smiled mysteriously. “I didn’t say we were going to catch fish,” he said. “I just said we were going to go fishing.”
Finally: Me and grandpa went at the back garden pretend that we were fishing.

5. 6 teaspoons unsalted butter, room temperature. ¾ cup sugar. 2 large eggs. 2 medium nectarines, peeled, halved, pitted, and finely chopped 11/4 cups.
NIC (New ending) When mum just left me and grandpa i had nothing to do because mum said i couldn't go so i played with my toys grandpa could go fishing so he did he bought some nectarines back home mum got home just when grandpa did then we ate nectarine for lunch.
I would rate this a 10 out of 10 because it is about fruits and grandpa is very funny in this story there is also a recipe for a nectarine cupcake.
